ghosti is a cashback coin. the creator fee that normally lands in a deployer wallet gets sent back to the people trading instead. there is no team wallet collecting it. there never was one.

and nobody can claim it later either. pump.fun's own rule is that community takeovers cannot be carried out on cashback coins, so no future team can take that stream. there is no fee switch, because there is no fee to take.

cashback goes to wallets that trade, in proportion to their own volume. holding alone does not earn it. we would rather tell you that than let you find out.

and no fees does not mean he walked away with nothing. the creator locked seven percent of the supply to himself on his way out, and it opens on august 1. that is the next section, and we lead with it.

the plan is small and specific. make real things, make them well. a plushie first. most of what we make above cost goes back into buying ghosti on the open market and burning it. supply goes down, and it does not come back.

nothing has been burned yet. no merch exists yet. when the first burn happens you will get a transaction hash, not an announcement. if we ever post a burn without one, do not believe us.

we will not describe any of this in the present tense until it is true.

when he made the coin he pushed 70,000,000 ghosti straight into a streamflow lock and pointed it back at himself. it opens in one go at 04:00 utc on august 1, 2026. not a trickle. all of it, at once.

he cannot pull it forward. we decoded the contract ourselves rather than take anyone's word for it: it is not cancelable by him, not cancelable by the recipient, and not transferable. nothing has been withdrawn. so the date is the date.

what it means, in one sentence: on august 1, seven percent of the supply becomes his to do whatever he likes with. we are not going to tell you that is fine, and we are not going to tell you it is a catastrophe. it is a date on a calendar, and now you have it.

so what do we intend to do about august 1? the honest answer is that the loop is the only answer we have, and half of it is still a promise. the cashback half is live protocol: the creator fee goes back to the people trading, and that is true today whatever the price does. the burning half is not live. we have burned nothing. there is no merch. we are not going to stand here and promise we can soak up an unlock we have not burned a single token against yet.

what we will say is the shape of it, and you can do the arithmetic yourself: supply that gets burned leaves forever. supply that unlocks arrives once. those are different shapes. that is the whole of our position and we are not going to dress it up any further.

in chinese tradition you burn paper money so it reaches the other side. the offering crosses over, the spirit is fed, and the spirit looks after you. it is a loop, and it is thousands of years older than any of this.

that is the actual reason the mechanic is a burn and not a buyback. we are not managing a supply curve. we are feeding something.
